Each project is unique and our process reflects and accommodates for this. It has been developed over the years based on the needs of the projects we have worked on and our learning experiences during each. We have created a system that ensures efficiency, two-way, transparent communication, pro-active project management and quality assurance measures.
We understand that your satisfaction needs to regard not only the final product, but your overall experience as well. For this reason great emphasis is placed on active communication and collaboration from the start.
Project Management, Relationship Management.
All companies offer support, the reactive and passive act of fixing a problem. We pride ourselves in offering service, the proactive process of creating solutions and opportunity. Our clients are our partners, a relationship built upon the management of a website that has the ability to grow and change over the lifetime of an organization. We're in it for the long-haul.
Our clients come to us not only for the services we provide, but for the quality in our work and the smooth ride along the way.
We consider project management to be a crucial part of our service because it dictates your entire journey with us. Each client is assigned a Project Manager (PM) who serves as the primary point of contact as your project progresses through each phase of development. The PM is there to address all questions and concerns in a timely manner and will actively provide updates on the status of the project and deliverables schedule.
In addition, our clients have direct access to a team of experts along the way. Our Client Strategist, Lead Designer and Lead Developer are experts in their perspective areas and will be available and involved to ensure the project rocks in every sense of the word.
Communication is important, but not the end of the service that our PMs provide. They get their hands dirty and learn the ins-and-outs of our projects. They conduct the QA and Testing associated with each phase and administer the Deliverable Acceptances (DA), processes that serve as opportunities to reflect on the project and ensure client satisfaction. They are also the ones who walk our clients through the WordPress training session and remain available up until the very end to make sure all concerns are addressed during a projects' warranty.
The Walk that Backs the Talk.
We use a number of tools to support in our Project Management. Our favorite and well loved is Basecamp, which we use as our primary project management tool. It allows us to track communication, manage files, set project milestones and assign specific tasks. Upon the project's commencement an account will be set up for your project, which your team members and involved Growth Spark staff will have access to. This account will serve as the number one means of electronic communication throughout the project.
Outside of Basecamp you can look forward to an e-mail bright and early every Monday morning in which your PM will update you on any progress as well as set the plan for the week. Of course (we hope it would go without saying) your PM will always available to you via phone or e-mail and if your in the neighborhood face-to-face (image that) meetings are a welcome treat.
To strengthen our projects we also rely on Dropbox for file sharing. Though we do not require clients use this platform, those that do are able to quickly and easily share files with us. Free accounts can be set up at Dropbox.com. The latest tool to be added to the box is Jumpchart, a powerful platform which organizes the content implementation and provides the opportunity for collaboration during the process. We are excited to have added this resource to our process as it take some of the overwhelm out of what is often times one of the biggest hurdles in any web development project: content.
